Would you like to be fit without having to sacrifice your time to exercise?

Uncategorized Jun 03, 2021

You know that doing exercise is good for you, right?

But after a year of doing classes on Zoom, you can’t wait to get back to face to face classes so you see your friends and chat with people.

But, there’s one problem with that, and that’s the same problem as before the pandemic…. To go out to an exercise class takes up your time, (possibly up to 90 minutes including travel time), and that’s without having to juggle your working hours or get childcare in order to go, and this can make it difficult to get to the class every week

Well, what’s the answer?

What if you could get and stay fit and strong without having to sacrifice so much of your precious time to do exercise?

Sounds good?

It is a myth that you need to do an hour’s class in order to get the benefits of exercise. Have you ever considered why classes are an hour long? Well, it’s not because that’s the optimum time to exercise to get results, it’s because that’s generally how long you can book a hall/studio space for.

Research shows that it is actually just as beneficial, short and long term, to do regular short exercise sessions as it is to do fewer longer sessions. A 2017 British study is one example, saying that when comparing exercise patterns, "more than one road leads to Rome".

There are other good reasons to strive for daily exercise; including lower risk of musculoskeletal injury, reduction in the risk of diabetes and increase in energy levels.
"It's a positive message for people who are time-poor … to make it part of day-to-day living."

The key is to do enough and to do it often enough.’ (Harvard Health Publishing June 2020)

So, life is picking up pace again and there are now other things to do as well as keeping fit, like meeting family and friends, going out for a drink or meal outside and all those other things you’ve been missing for the last year.

Life is for living right? And you want to be fit and strong but you don’t want to spend hours every day doing exercise, there’s more to life?

What if I told you that there is an easy, achievable approach to your fitness that will still leave you with enough time to meet up with friends for a coffee?

An approach that is sustainable, enjoyable and gets you results.

It’s called ‘Bitesize Pilates’
A proven way for busy women to actually build strength and feel good about yourself without sacrificing hours of your precious time at the gym or out at a class.

Before the pandemic, my clients would do an hour’s class with me once a week and loved it! Then during 2020 I moved classes online and provided my clients with Bitesize Pilates.

After a year, my clients do not want to go back to our once a week community class, they say they are stronger and fitter now than they have ever been.

As a previous gym bunny, I now have the best 6 pack I’ve ever had’ - Amanda Jackson

I have been doing Pilates with Gila as my instructor for years, however now with being able to do Pilates most days I have really noticed that my body is a lot stronger. I am able to do more physically demanding jobs, for longer periods of time in the garden and on our small holding without feeling any aches and pains. The regular exercise also aids a better night’s sleep.’ - Rose Beardow
