Revive

Wake up your body and your mind and feel younger and revived.

Pilates himself said that Contrology ‘restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit. It stirs our sluggish circulation into action and your brain clears.’

What's really important to you?

Catch the replay of our first reflection activity.

We are talking about what is really important to you and by the end you will be clear on your highest values and priorities, and this makes deciding whether to exercise or not a done deal, easy, simple.

Rebuild

Build strength in a balanced and functional way so that you can enjoy doing everything you want to do.  No weights needed!

Find your Motivation

Want to find your motivation? Here's the replay of our second reflection activity. Make sure you watch it if you weren't able to join us live.

If you hear yourself saying 'I just haven't got enough energy to do any exercise' or ' I can't be bothered'...well finding your motivation will get you exercising even on the days when you don't really feel like it.

Rebalance

Rebalancing your body, your posture and feeling centred and upright are more important today than ever before as we live in an increasingly sedentary society.

The Six 'P' Formula

If you missed this live - catch it here.

Discover the 6 ‘P’ formula and complete a simple and easy task that will enable you to stay on track, stay consistent and guilt free when it comes to doing Pilates for yourself.

Make sure you catch the replay because what I will share, although really simple, will make a massive difference to your success in becoming your best self.

Relax

‘Contrology exercises emphasize the need for constant stretching and relaxing’ Joseph Pilates, 1945

Your Goals

Here is our 5th live reflection activity replay.

I’ll take you through setting your goals for 2022 and beyond so by the end you’ll have a clear plan of your next steps in your journey, what you’re aiming for and how you’re going to achieve them.

Progress is Progress

Here is a replay of our final live session together, reflecting on your progress and acknowledging what you have achieved for yourself.

Hi, I'm Gila - your Bitesize Pilates Instructor

Instead of telling you my life story, here are 3 things about me that might surprise you…

I’m not a fitness fanatic

You won’t find me in a sweaty gym, lifting weights or doing crossfit! You won’t find my out running round the streets, I just don’t enjoy it! I don’t drink protein shakes and fitness isn’t my top priority, my health is.

Any activity I do, I do because I enjoy it. I have always danced since a little girl and I still do ballet now, because I love dancing and how it makes me feel.

I started to learn aerial silks a few years ago because it was something I had always wanted to do. It does of course improve your strength, but that wasn’t my motivation to do it.

I love Pilates, ever since I started doing it over 18 years ago. I love the fact I have to think about it, I have to concentrate and every time I do it, I am improving my control, precision, technique and challenging myself. Afterwards my mind always feels clearer, I feel energised and refreshed. I love how it makes me feel and that’s why I keep on doing it.

But I don’t obsess over workouts day in and day out. I care more about wellness, feeling good on the inside and out. I care about my health, my physical and mental health. I care about being active and enjoying doing the things in life I want to be able to do like running around with my children.  I care about keeping active as I get older so I can continue to be independent and do things I enjoy.

I focus on how I feel not how I look

In the fitness industry the focus all too often is about how you look, with young women with flat stomachs, big breasts, tanned skin and long eyelashes pouting or lifting weights.

This is unrealistic and can easily make others feel discouraged and ashamed of the way they look.

I prefer to focus on how I feel and have made it my mission to help other busy women to feel better about themselves, improve their health and fitness, and make significant lasting changes to their lives without using how I look as a false and unachievable goal for others.

What you see is what you get!  We may not always look a million dollars – that’s not real life, but I want to help you feel like a million dollars.

 My weakness… (one of them!)

We all have something that we find hard to resist… I absolutely love chocolate! Anything from Cadburys to more exclusive brands and individual homemade chocolate.

However much I love chocolate and could happily eat it all day, I also know that doing that would not be healthy. But I don’t stress over it and deprive myself of it. My approach is everything in moderation.

It is about having a healthy and balanced approach to your life, enjoying life, living realistically achieving a balance in what you do.

Your fitness will never be a chore again!

If you are enjoying doing Bitesize Pilates, building strength and feeling good about yourself in an achievable, flexible and sustainable way then you may be thinking 'what now? I'd like to continue all the progress I've made whilst taking part in this experience and I value my health and fitness and don't want to go back to what I was doing before.

Well, I'd love to introduce you to CORE, my online Pilates membership for busy women. If you'd like to find out more about CORE, then click the button below for more details.

P.S. The doors to CORE are currently closed to the public, but as you are here taking part in this experience I wanted to give you the opportunity to jump in straight away.
